Amajor topic has emerged in the cybersecurity industry, referred to as ‘platformization.’ This consolidation of technology promises an all-in-one solution for cybersecurity needs. However, on the other side, ‘best of breed’ technologies claim to be much more tailored to the nature of the cybersecurity market, due to its characteristics of ever-evolving complex threats that demand rapid innovation, modularity, and flexibility.
